I’m done putting everyone before me, I’m now taking care of myself, and making ME happy FIRST. Yes, I care about others, but I should be my priority always. I’m young and I’m learning as I go but today has been such an eye-opener day. I don’t want people who constantly bring me down around me, I don’t want negative energy. I always pull those around me up and it’s time I pulled myself up too! I’m so ready to be 100% happy, not in this constant state of average happiness that I am. This is about me now. If I don’t focus on myself, no one else will. I’m ready to continue growing into an amazing person😊
And maybe that involves taking time off tumblr for now.
You found out early in life that you have to take care of yourself first. That is good. If you are happy, your joy in life will spread to others. Life is short and there is no time for negative or difficult people in yours. The career path you chose is a tough one because it will be hard to leave it at work, but once you can separate the two you will do well you cannot save everyone. You can try and give it your best and that is all you can do. We can’t be happy all the time and you are smart and know that. You have a beautiful life going so enjoy it!

I have come to the realization that I can’t save everyone, and all along I knew it, but now it’s very clear. I don’t expect to be happy all the time, but I do want to do things that make me happy! Enjoy your youth. I did mine and have no regrets. Faced plenty of tough times like all do, but remembered our old family saying “first you cry 😢then you laugh 😄”. Finding hope and humor in life will get you through it all. 😉🌷
